Crayon Maestro Description
This full-fledged wax crayon simulator lets you create art, whether a complete drawing or just a sketch, with a striking resemblance to its real life counterpart.

• FINGERTIP = STROKE SIZE •
When you draw, the app measures how much of your finger is touching the screen and changes the stroke size accordingly.
Apply just the corner of your fingertip for a thin line, or the whole fingerprint area for a broad stroke.
A 2nd tool assigned to your finger will still use this feature, so don’t ignore it just because you have an Apple Pencil!

• PARAMETERS CAN BE CHANGED LIVE •
Use any buttons or controls to change/adjust color, size, force, simultaneously while drawing.

• APPLE PENCIL •
Full support for Apple Pencil and Apple Pencil 2.
In addition, you can assign a second drawing tool, such as Eraser, to the finger.

• EASY AND QUICK TO USE COLOR PALETTE •
Changing the color is only a tap away.
The colors in the palette can be rearranged, adjusted, added and removed.

• UNIVERSAL PURCHASE •
If you choose to buy the Pro upgrade, this one-time in-app purchase will unlock all Pro features in the app on all available platforms (iPad-iPhone-Mac)!

• METAL •
The engine is based on Metal, with 128-bit color and floating-point arithmetic.

• SWIFT •
The app was developed entirely using Swift (earlier versions used C++).

• FULL SCREEN DRAWING • SEAMLESS PATTERN EDITING MODE •
• DARK MODE • LANDSCAPE • PORTRAIT • WIDE COLOR •
• MULTIPLE LAYERS • PHOTO TRACING MODE (Pro feature) •

--- THE PREVIOUS UPDATE ---
The drawings now have a higher resolution (4 times as many pixels) on all devices with Retina screens.
Since that means the app needs to process 4 times the data it used to, we obviously needed to make things faster.
We have optimized as much as humanly possible, with assembler code and improved use of multiple CPU cores.
Some parts of the app will actually run faster than before, but on some older Retina devices other parts might be a bit slower.
We will continue to optimize even more, so please bear with us.
The stored drawings (Work in Progress) now take up less storage space, despite the higher resolution (they will not be re-saved until you select them, so it might be a good idea to cycle through them).
Added a new Eyedropper tool (Pro feature, found in the menu that appears when you tap a 2nd time on the selected color).
Brush strokes initiated immediately after one another will now share the same Undo step.
When the toolbar automatically hides (by drawing near it) it is now gone for a slightly longer time, to facilitate drawing with quickly repeated brush strokes.
New animated "Please Wait" messages.
After clearing the drawing or one of its layers, the app now automatically switches to the last used drawing tool (if needed), since there's absolutely no use for e.g. an Eraser on a blank drawing.
(Pro) You can now Swap the selected layer with any other layer, instead of just the layer directly above/below.
Added new 'Move Layer in Stack' (Pro) feature.
The drawing engine has been optimized in various ways.
Some improvements to make the app compatible with iPad Pro.
Swiping along the toolbar to minimize it is now an optional feature (default is 'off').
Fixed some minor memory leaks.
Fixed a bug that could make the 'Change Layer' button temporarily show the wrong icon if pressed repeatedly.
Some additional minor bug fixes, improvements and optimizations.

Redesigned user interface, with fewer non-drawing related buttons in the toolbar.
There is now a Work in Progress screen (tap the easel button) where you can access all your work by tapping their respective thumbnails.
In the Work in Progress screen, you can also find options and operations for the current drawing and its layers, export, preferences, manual etc.
More colors in the color sets/palettes.
Tap twice on the eraser and you will be asked if you want to clear the drawing or the current layer.
Added optional 'Hide Other Layers' button, which toggles between viewing all layers and just the one you're working on.
(To switch it on, open the Work in Progress screen and check the last option found in Settings->Toolbar.)
