About Arithmetic Tutor
Arithmetic helps your kid master addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Carefully planned drills and hints ensure that the child really understands how these operations work.
You pick the operation and the drill set (for example, addition within 10), select the drill (for example Add 1, 2, or 3) , and the child answers 60 questions. At the end, if he makes mistakes, he has to do a wrong answer quiz that will give him hints to fix them. The hints assume that he already mastered the previous drills. After that, you can check his work. You’ll see the time that it took him to take the quiz, the mistakes that he made, and the time that it took him to correct them. Once your child can consistently do a drill in less than 5 minutes with no mistakes, he is ready to move on to the next drill.
Here is an example. Say your child is on the drill where he adds 1, 2, or 3. This means that he already mastered adding 1 and 2. If he makes a mistake adding 3, during the wrong answer quiz, the app will ask him to add 2 first, and then ask to add 3 (If he makes a mistake adding 2, the app will ask to add 1 and go back to adding 2 after getting the right answer). This way, your child will be able to answer the questions based on what he already learned earlier.
