About ASF STEM Challenge

This app includes data-verified STEM challenges intended to be used in the context of the fairs with amusement park rides. Two challenges are included that will be a part of a scavenger hunt throughout the Arizona State fairgrounds, but is useful for home experimentation as well: (1) use the accelerometer to determine the direction of force that causes you to move in a circle on rides, and (2) use the barometer to understand how air pressure changes as you go up and down on rides. The app is intended for adults, adolescents, and children ages 6+ with their families, and was developed as the result of an initiative between the Arizona State Fair, Arizona Sci Tech, and Vieyra Software.
