- The new "Export Chat" function lets you decide which chats to save or forward as text file.
- Your message must not be overlooked? No problem: Simply mark it as important and it will then be visually highlighted in the chat history and in the push notification.
- Calling contacts or writing an e-mail made easy: one click on the mobile phone number or e-mail address in the contact details is enough.
- After last version’s quality improvements to videos, we’ve now also increased the quality of sent images.
- Ringtones work fine again: ginlo now remembers your selected tone until you choose a different one.
- And for all Italian language enthusiasts: The app is available in Italian again. To try it out, simply change the system language to "Italian".

SIMSme is now ginlo. And not only the name is new: The app comes with a new look in the ginlo colors as well as with improved usability. Everything else stays as it is: features, your existing messages & contacts, and of course encryption, privacy & security. Made in Germany and free of charge.

SIMSme Private 2.5 is here! At last, photos and videos can be shared directly from the iPhone Photos app. Simply activate the feature using SIMSme menu > Settings > Chats > “Media from Photos app” to share your media more easily.
