The progress widgets are a type of widgets that shows a progress bar to an event, there are built in progress widgets such as Day Progress, Week Progress, Month Progress and Year Progress that shows a progress bar with percentages until the end of the Day / Week / Month or Year.
You can also use the Custom Event Progress Widget and set the event start and end date by yourself.
