This release rethinks the way the app operates by refreshing and optimizing content and the delivery of content for our users. This is the next step in our journey to provide the most optimal experience for our users. Included below are the key features updated in this release.
More Robust & Streamlined Search - Our search has been completely rethought by providing users with topic-based search streams through Procedures or Interest Areas while increasing the robustness of our search capabilities on the backend through the use of Elasticsearch.
More Options for Home Feed - In addition to searching by Procedures, we have introduced the ability to control the content that flows to your Home Feed by selecting the Procedures most relevant to you. This functionality complements the existing interest areas selection that was previously available to deliver the most recent content available that aligns with your interests.
Refreshed Training View - We have added a calendar view to our training section to allow you to see what is upcoming, as well as what has been completed. Check back soon for the latest updates through a cleaner experience.
Optimized Trending Section - As we’ve seen the amount of trending and important information increase, we realized that our current Hot Topics section needed to be redesigned. This new view introduces a trending section that is broken down by categories and allows users to scroll content laterally, increasing the amount of content that is structured into a format that is easy to consume.
Easier access to Related Content - As part of our redesign, we updated the experience to offer easier access to videos, journals, news, and other great content that is related to the currently viewed content. This new design replaces our previous buttons, with categorized content that aligns to the selected content and allows for lateral scrolling, similar to other sections of the application.
