Fasten App - Gives you much more than just an Intermittent Fasting Tracker.

Weight Tracking
We have enabled this feature so you can track your weight along your IF journey. See any fluctuations, make adjustments, and continue to push yourself to your goal.

Hydration
A convenient way to keep track of your liquid intake. Staying hydrated is key to a successful fast as it keeps you satisfied longer, and also, it helps your body get rid of toxins and water weight.

Keto Mode
See what your body is experiencing during your Fasting window; which will keep you motivated to achieve more. During your fasting state, your body goes through several stages which have different benefits. Maintaining a record on how long, and how often you have entered each state, allows for measurement of full benefits to your health, including a reset of the immune system, cells, and liver detox.

About Intermittent Fasting.
When you eat, you store energy in the liver as glycogen. But after 10 to 12 of fasting, your glycogen reserves will be deficient, which means you'll start to convert fat into energy for your body and brain. The longer you fast, the more fat you'll burn. It is recommended to start with a 12-hour fasting window, then work your way up to a 14 or 16-hour window.

Intermittent fasting has several benefits for your body:

* Increased growth hormone

Ways to do intermittent fasting
- Fast for 12 hours a day - Eating window 12 hours
- Fast for 14 hours day - Eating window 10 hours
- Fast for 16 hours - Eating window - 8 hours
- Fast for 2 days a week: 5:2 methods which you eat less than 500 calories two days a week and eat regularly for the other 5 days.
- Alternate day fasting: Eat regularly for one day and restrict your calorie intake to 500 calories the next day.
- A weekly 24-hour fast: Fast for 24 hours one-day fo the week

NEW - Weight Tracker! - You asked, we listened. A lot of our wonderful users have requested the ability to track weight along with intermittent fasts. We've added a very simple widget to start login your weight. When you log your weight, it now displays on the user profile in a beautiful graphic! In addition, every time you log your weight, you'll see it on your log section.

- Bug Fixing. We've also re-factored some sections of the main screen for better user experience.

Coming soon, this widget will be able to read data from Apple health.

A shout out to everyone using Fasten to track intermittent fasting. We are thousands already!

We are working very hard to bring in AM/PM times rather than the 24Hr clock. Hang on tight. We're almost there.

Also working on functionality to pre-set your fasting week ahead of time so the app will become more pro-active rather than depend on you to start and end fasts. Don't worry, you'll have both options. In addition, we are working on a weight tracker so you can understand how fasting is helping with weight loss.

On our first week of the app, you guys have been amazing! We've received great feedback and we are pumped to continue to build onto this app.

Bug Fixing. We fixed a bug with the way we display "Time" throughout the app. Everything is now using the 24Hrs system.

NEW - Background colors. Some of you out there are starting to post screenshots of your completed fasts. We are all about making things look pretty. So we added a setting so you can customize the background of the app. Go to settings and tap the "App Themes" and choose your favorite background image or color.

Coming Soon:
- KETO ZONE. We'll be adding functionality for those of use mixing intermittent fasting and Keto Diets so you understand when you've entered the Ketosis state.

- MOOD CHECKING. While you are fasting we'll give you the opportunity to check-in and record your mood. Once the fast is completed we'll display your fast information along with the mood check-ins done during the fast.

- PRE-SET WEEKS - COACHING. want to use our app as a fasting coach? We'll give you pre-set weekly fasting schedules that you can select so that app will automagically coach you through the week.
