La app AAEM (Atlántico Atención Especializada en Maternidad) es una herramienta para brindarles apoyo a médicos generales, en la atención de pacientes embarazadas, que se encuentren prestando sus servicios en zonas que no cuenten con médicos especialistas en la materia. El apoyo se da a través de interacción por chat entre el médico general y un especialista de turno, apoyados con la posibilidad de compartir una historia clínica básica y el envió de imágenes. De esta manera se pretende disminuir la morbilidad y mortalidad materna y/o perinatal en los casos que sean evitables.
