Alzheimer's Xplained explains what Alzheimer's is through a mother and son who have been touched by this condition. It reflects their story, their experiences, and their advice to others.

We translate complicated 'doctor speak' into an entertaining and engaging language so that every person – regardless of age, gender, culture, and condition – can have access to medical information they can understand.

Many patients are confused about their diagnoses and lack a proper understanding of their conditions and treatments. There is a disconnect between the language that doctors use and language patients understand which leads to a sense of hopelessness and anxiety for people at an often very difficult time in their lives.

We believe there is a better way. We believe all patients should feel informed and empowered in order to become truly engaged in their personal and medical decision-making.
