About BIRU for WordPress
Bulk Image Resize, Watermark, and Upload for WordPress 3.5+ (BIRU-WP) is a great timesaver for every serious blogger with an iPhone or iPad. With this app, you can upload any number of photos and images from your iPhone or iPad to your WordPress blog with just a few taps. Your images are automatically resized on your device to save bandwidth, mobile charges, and space on the webserver.
You can optionally watermark your photos before uploading them. BIRU-WP also can set the image title in WordPress to the date and/or location of the image.
Resizing, watermarking, and uploading your day's catch of images from your iPhone or iPad to your WordPress blog has never been easier.
After the upload, all images will appear in the media section of your WordPress blog. They are not automatically published and are not attached to any posts.

Background info: Some web hosters limit the number of calls to your WordPress blog's XML-RPC interface per minute. BIRU-WP needs to access this interface frequently to work. So if your provider cannot turn this off for you, you can now set a minimum waiting time between each call to the interface in the app to not exceed this limitation.
Please note that this is a workaround for some edge cases where providers lack this flexibility. It is not a recommended setting for general use as this will significantly slow down the app.

BIRU-WP 2.8 now supports custom endpoints for XML-RPC calls to your WordPress blog.
If your webhoster blocks calls to the default xmlrpc.php of your WordPress installation, you can now enter a custom URL in the blog settings and check the advanced option "Custom XML-RPC Endpoint". BIRU-WP will then use only this URL to connect to your blog instead of using your blog URL and appending "/xmlrpc.php".

We keep on giving BIRU-WP the TLC it needs. With this release we have added the following features:
- Support for dark mode in iOS 13 (on all setting screens - the main screen always stays dark. It's a photo app after all ;) )
- Support for dynamic font sizes
