We're excited to announce the release of version 2.9 of our mobile application, which includes several new features and improvements. Here are the highlights:
Introducing our improved Answering Service system (similar to IVR): We've improved how this feature works, which allows you to handle incoming calls more efficiently. When callers reach your phone number, they'll be greeted with a menu of options that you've defined, such as "press 1 for sales," "support," and "billing" or send your business info in a text - try adding your scheduling calendar link to your Business Info or a link to your Yelp review page. This allows your callers to select the department or person they need to speak with, without having to go through a receptionist or switchboard. You can also customize the voice prompts for each option, so callers know exactly what to do.
Improved call routing: Record or upload a custom greeting prompt and toggle Answering Service ON then you can set up call routing rules based on the caller's selection. For example, if a caller selects "sales," their call will be routed directly to your sales team. This helps to reduce wait times and improve customer satisfaction.
Text message notifications: We've also added the ability to receive text message notifications when you receive a new voicemail or missed call. This ensures that you never miss an important message, even if you're away from your phone.
Bug fixes and performance improvements: tapping "Done" takes you back to the Inbox for a swifter experience, the VIP crown sticks around if you've toggled it on from Contact Details, and the Auto Reply is clearer with a nice big [Save] button for any changes.

We've added a few things that have been requested by you, our users, the last few months.
Swipe to delete contacts, messages or a label you don't like. Texts are a bit more animated and you can archive them or delete them forever :bye_bitch: We added tap targets on tricky features and took away the ghost keyboard. We're taking a break from our integration with Square so we can revisit it in the future and make it better. Until next time!

We've made some adjustments to a few things around the app.
Most notably a contact will now be inside the "recipient" field instead of hanging below it, message width adjustment, colors in dark mode are now more consistent, and Contact Import will resolve after a successful import. Duplicate contacts should also be non-existent in Labels going forward or when adding a new contact that may already exist in your account.

New users may have noticed a bump in the road while signing up recently. This new version fixes a bug in that flow. This has been an update long coming.
We've also included a fix for opening activities from push notifications, the quick slide on Contact Detail Edit and Message is gone, and now composing new messages will auto-suggest contacts that match as you type. Happy holidays and enjoy!

Editing is *back* for Saved Replies. Swipe left to see Edit and Delete. Swipe right to pin a favorite reply to the top of the list.

Saving photos! Now Dialed creates a photo album and you can save and share photos from your messages.

Labels! We're working our way through our features and giving each one a brand new touch. Now Labels act as quick filters on your Contact page. Or scroll through them and select one to send a Broadcast message to the whole group assigned to that Label. There are additional updates to Contact details to keep your contacts organized as well.
The Inbox includes an update to call history. Date and timestamps will display for your call activity within the thread, and you can also slide a message over to see the timestamp for that message.

What’s new with Dialed? Nothing much, we just _completely_ redid the entire user interface for you. Not only does this make Dialed look cooler with updated fonts and colors, but it’s now even easier to manage your business communications. That’s right, this update features performance and speed improvements to Inbox, Contacts, Keypad, and Settings. The brand new navigation icons are just the icing on the cake.
Some of the updates you can expect to enjoy include:
- Contact, Label, and Broadcast message functionality improvements
- Inboxes that are easier to use
- The ability to copy and paste phone numbers
- Color improvements to buttons and actions for better usability
- The ability to add a caller to Dialed straight from your Contacts!
Outside of improving the app’s functionality, we’ve been working hard to deliver even better business benefits to all users. This includes the ability to better customize Office Hours (select the days and hours you’re in-office and enjoy improvements to the active/inactive function) along with a new and improved Answering Service feature.
