En touchant le symbole, il vous sera demandé de "parler". En pressant fini, l'application traitera ce qui a été dit et continuera de produire votre saisie affichée dans la police choisie. Cette fonction peut être modifiée dans vos paramètres, vers lesquels on peut également facilement naviguer depuis l'écran principal. De plus, au sein des paramètres, vous pouvez changer entre plusieurs langues, choisir la langue de traduction, inverser la traduction, choisir le fond, choisir l'option dyslexique, afficher les lettres majuscules et minuscules et éteindre la sortie vocale si vous le désirez. L'Aide à l'Orthographe Facile affiche aussi un registre de l'historique, qui enregistre les résutats d'orthographe, dont les traductions.
