• Customize your fishing map with an improved options & settings menu.

We've now added 10,000+ USGS river gauges to the Fishbrain map! Tap any river gauge icon in the map to view the flow rate, water temperature, and gauge height. Check the current reading, and view 60-day historical trendlines.
Checking river gauge readings in Fishbrain can help you choose the perfect time to fish your local rivers & streams, and know what type of conditions to expect before you hit the water.
River gauges are available to all Fishbrain Pro members. Make sure to enable the river gauges through the settings options in the map.
Of course, we've also fixed a few bugs and made performance improvements across the app.

Fish ID has never been easier! Tap the "+" button in the bottom navigation bar to open Fish ID directly. Snap a photo, or choose an image from your camera roll. Fishbrain can accurately identify 300+ species in a matter of seconds.
You can even launch Fish ID directly from your phone's home screen! Press and hold the Fishbrain app icon, then select "Fish ID" from the Shortcuts menu.
We've also added new filtering options to the Fishbrain map. Filter by catch date to narrow in on just the most recently logged catches in your area. From the map, tap the "Filter" button, then adjust the new catch date filter to any option you'd like!
And of course, we've fixed a few bugs and made performance improvements across the app.

We're excited to add more new functionality to the "You" tab! You can now pin favorite catches to the top of your profile, sort and filter your catches, and display your catches in multiple layouts.
Have a few favorite catches you want others to see when they visit your profile? Pin them to the top! You can pin any catch by long-pressing the catch from within your catches gallery and then selecting "Pin to top."
Trying to find specific catches on the "You" tab? Tap the filter icon to change the way your catches are sorted, or to filter specifically to catches from specific months and years. You can sort your catches gallery by most recent, heaviest, longest, or even those with the most likes.
From the "You" tab, you can also view your catches in the traditional logbook layout once again. Tap the logbook icon right above your catches gallery to toggle to this layout.

We are excited to introduce the "You" tab, a fresh layout for your Fishbrain profile! Relive your catches, check your stats, and easily find all your personal fishing info in one place. The "You" tab combines the best features from the old logbook and profile tabs, making it easier than ever to skim through your favorite catches. Thank you to all the Fishbrain members whose feedback helped shape this update!
We've also continued making improvements to the Fishbrain map. With the Navionics depth contours layer enabled, a precise depth indicator will now appear as you pan around the map. This will give you a quick read of the depth at the current spot. Navionics depth contours are available to Fishbrain Pro members for waters in the USA & Canada.
