About Ganesh Chalisa read along
Chalisa means "forty verse(40 stanzas)" prayer and contains verses that praise the deity with devotion. They are recited over and over again or chanted by people in temples and in homes. He is the son of Lord Shiva and Parvati and his birthday is celebrated and Ganesh Chaturthi. Ganesh Chaturthi is great festival and mainly celebrated in month of August and September.
