Quadrangular é um termo bíblico usado para o Tabernáculo, no livro de Êxodo; para o Templo do Senhor, em Ezequiel 40:47 e para o Céu, no livro de Apocalipse.
O termo “Evangelho Quadrangular” foi dado à fundadora Aimée Semple McPherson em inspiração pelo avivamento, durante uma campanha evangelística em Oakland, Califórnia, no ano de 1922. “Evangelho Quadrangular” representa aquilo que é igualmente equilibrado por todos os lados, estabelecido e resistente.
