About Jump Height

Vertical jump is a great measure of your athletic ability, but it can be hard to measure your vertical jump. Jump Height makes it easy to see how high you can jump. Just hold your phone to your chest and jump.

Jump Height records your jumps so you can see your progress over time. Turn your phone sideways to see a timeline view.

Share your best jumps with friends. See who can jump the highest.

Jump Height uses the accelerometer to measure how long you are in the air, and computes height and other metrics from that time. The accelerometer is accurate to about 10 milliseconds, and the measured jump time is accurate to about 30 milliseconds. For the most accurate reads, squeeze the phone into your chest so it moves with your body.

There are many other ways to measure your jump height, but none are as quick and easy as Jump Height.
