About Kaugya’angcum Qawangurtuwa
The Alutiiq Museum and Native Village of Afognak have released an app version of the Alutiiq language children’s book Kaugya’angum Qawangurtuwa? Written and narrated by April Isiik Counceller with assistance from Kodiak Elders, and illustrated by Mary Ruskovich, Kaugya’angum Qawangurtuwa? is the story of a small fox and his funny dream.
You will be amazed at how these wonderful children's stories come to life with KIWA™Book. Children love being able to run their fingers over the text to hear the story and touch any word to hear it said or spelt.
