SFO's official app for San Francisco taxi drivers operating at the Airport tracks the taxi’s trip within the SFO “short trip” geofence after picking up a passenger at SFO. Taxis with qualified short trips are granted expedited access to the head of the line when returning to the SFO holding lot.
