Finally the wait is over!
I have 'rebooted' the old swears app!
The old app had its limitations, I know - so I've rebuilt it from scratch and added a dizzying array of new word-reveals. This is where the app becomes great fun - especially when in multiplay mode. My brother and I were crying with laughter, especially when it tries to concoct sentences using the primitive AI grammar engine I made... HAHAHAHOHOHO
The rules really are simple:
1) A word (or words) appear on the screen.
2) See a swear word - press it!
You win a point!
Touch any other (non-swear) word and you lose time - or give points to the other player.
This really is heaven :-D
Swears is ideal as a pub game. Come on - you're already drinking beer so why not throw a little bit of swearing into the mix?
Two player mode is perfect as a way to get the party started! One can even use it as a decision-making tool - much like a large company CEO might use a novelty stress dice to decide whether to invest large amounts of money into a small company that re-strings beads.
Anyhow, I digress. Please give swears a go - and if you like it please add a review and tell your friends too. A lot of time and energy has gone into making it. I also have to deal with awkward questions from potential employers when they peruse my online portfolio - and that's all because of you lot - so the least you can do is try it!
