Instead of browsing to a web site and working your way through the menus and map graphics to find a web camera just open Phoenix Traffic on your iPhone and go straight to the camera you want with one click. Flick through the other cameras along your route, in order, with a simple Next button.

The traffic is slowing to a crawl. Is it going to clear quickly or is it time to bail and find a better route? Open Phoenix Traffic, select the nearest camera with one click and then flick through the web cams along your route to see how far the congestion continues.
Phoenix Traffic comes pre-loaded with 152 still-image traffic cameras. Use the refresh button to get the latest image.
The traffic camera images are provided through the Arizona Department of Transportation web site at http://www.az511.com Individual cameras may be inoperative due to weather conditions or maintenance requirements.

FINAL UPDATE. This is the last time Phoenix Traffic Cam will be updated.
REPLACEMENT. The camera network covered by Phoenix Traffic Cam is now included in a new app named DOT Traffic. Select Phoenix from DOT Traffic's setup page once and the app will provide the same functionality as Phoenix Traffic Cam. DOT Traffic will continue to be updated. Unfortunately there is no mechanism to transition App Store ownership of Phoenix Traffic Cam to DOT Traffic.
