SyncGrades is the only solution in NYC that seamlessly bridges the gap between siloed NYC school data systems.

Using your existing NYC or Google Classroom credentials, SyncGrades can calculate Marking Period averages, and send those averages to STARS to generate official NYC report cards. If you're a NYC teacher who doesn't use google classroom, you can still benefit by submitting your official report card grades to STARS Classroom.

Marking Periods
Separate your assignments by date ranges to place google assignments into marking periods.

Grading Categories
Within each marking period, group assignments by categories and apply percentages for overall marking period averages. Additional grading category features include late assignment penalties, and excluding lowest grades.

Grade Scales
Convert your calculated average to a grade scale. 1-4, Pass-Fail, 0-100, A-F, 55-100. Even conversion ranges are user defined.

Assignment Weights

Excused Grades
Google doesn't allow excused grades, but we do. Define a mark to exclude a student assignment from averaging.
