Umii was inspired by the founder’s own experience who believed it should be simple to meet people at University. It’s a major time in your life after all, and one you shouldn’t do alone.
We created Umii to make it easy for students like you to find and meet people outside of their course and accommodation. Only verified users can access the app, so you can be sure who you’re connecting with is a real student at your uni.
Umii connects you to students at your university based on your shared interests, course type and societies preferences, meaning like-minded people are at your fingertips. Whether you want to expand your social circle, search for a study buddy, or find members for your society or sports team, Umii makes it happen.

Umii is endorsed by, and works in partnership with Universities and Student Unions. Students go through a simple but secure verification process to ensure they should have access to the app. There are a number of safeguarding features within the Umii app, as well as safeguarding services and wellbeing officers at your university.
