About Venstar Skyport
The Venstar Skyport App allows iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch users to remotely monitor and control their heating and cooling systems. From the couch to across town you have the ability to control your comfort remotely.
Venstar Skyport App features include:
- Simple, easy to use monitor and control of the thermostat
- Current weather and forecast is displayed for each location
- Monitor equipment runtimes
- Receive thermostat alerts
- Easy selection of home or away
- Send personal texts directly to the thermostat’s display (compatible models only)
Compatible with all Venstar WiFi thermostats.

Introducing the Venstar Geofencing, automated HOME (comfort Settings) and AWAY (Energy Savings) feature. Geofencing will invoke energy savings settings when the last registered phone leaves the set radius around the location. And, Geofencing will invoke comfort settings when the first registered phone returns inside of the radius of the location. You can enable Geofencing and register your phone in the Location Settings.
The redesigned sensor screen may be accessed by navigating from the MORE menu. Here you can view all the wired and wireless sensors, with their highs and lows, connected to the thermostat. Sensors that are providing the space temperature that the equipment is controlling to for optimal comfort are also highlighted. Additionally, if your system is configured to average sensors, this information is also displayed here.
Alerts that are enabled are now prioritized to the top of the listing.
This release also includes bug fixes and performance improvements.
