Note: The old streaming engine (GTLive) is still the default engine but will be replaced by this new engine and could be completely removed in future updates as development continues of the new one and OpenGL get's removed from iOS. Also, This engine also doesn't support putting the app into background mode at the moment. We are looking into the best way to handle background mode/pauses for the new engine. We see a benefit with not sending RTMP packets while in the background (the previous one did send RTMP packets) to save power and network data usage so we will continue down this path.
