About GestureMatic: Sketch and go!
GestureMatic is an amazing utility that will help you cut through the icons and lists to get to your favourite apps, phone functions and websites - fast.
Got a home screen full of icons? A bookmark folder that's bursting at the seams? A list of contacts as long as your arm?
Get it all done with a flick of the wrist - with gestures.
In GestureMatic, gestures are shapes that you sketch on the screen to perform actions that would otherwise take longer. For example, you may sketch an "M" shape to open up a Google Map centered on your house, or a "D" shape to send an e-mail to Dad.
GestureMatic lets you record a freestyle stroke (or series of strokes) and then assign any of these actions to it:
★ Send an e-mail, with To:, Cc:, Subject: and even the message body fields pre-filled!
★ Open a web page of your choosing in Safari. You could have one gesture for opening your favourite tech news site, another for your blog, yet another for search - bookmarks were never this cool!
★ If you're using an iPhone, assign phone numbers to gestures for dialling or SMS! Why hunt through a contacts list?
★ Launch a selection of third party apps (apps supporting custom URL schemes) including Facebook, the official Twitter app and Skype.
Gestures can be as simple or as complex as you like.
For fast access to your gestures, we recommend placing GestureMatic among those four app icons at the bottom of your home screen, so you're never more than a button-press and a tap away from it!
