Glucomate: Glucose Tracker Description
Glucomate is the perfect companion app for people who record, track, and monitor their blood glucose on iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch. It's for people who have their readings automatically saved to HealthKit, or otherwise want to keep a record manually. With nice charts, a detailed history view, sleep and workout comparisons, and Apple Watch app for quick-entry - it's the go-to companion for someone wanting to stay on top of their blood glucose.

Though not required, Glucomate works nicely with CGM or other blood glucose-monitoring devices that send glucose readings to HealthKit. Not just for people with diabetes, either. Glucomate is for anyone who records their blood glucose - no matter how frequently!

Glucomate offers a completely free, fully-featured Demo Mode. It lets you get a feel for the app before subscribing, or allows you to try out the app even if you don't record your own blood glucose to HealthKit.

Main features:
• Quick entry of blood glucose data into HealthKit on iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch
• An interactive widget for an even quicker way of entering a new blood glucose reading
• Complications on Apple Watch, widgets on iOS (may require your device to be unlocked for updates to come through)
• A summary of the current day, highlighting the most recent glucose reading, along with information about highs and lows, time in range
• Look at glucose readings during workouts or your sleep, and compare your waking glucose across days
• Analysis features with information and trends from the last 7, 14, 30, or 90-days
• History view with averages, high/low information, time in range, and ability to view all readings for a given day, along with readings during any sleep or workout from that day
• Customisable charts with the ability to show/hide and reorder to create a custom app experience
• A full-featured Demo Mode allowing you to get a feel for the app without having real blood glucose readings in HealthKit
• Support for mmol/L and mg/dL units.

Glucomate tries to be the perfect companion for people who monitor their blood glucose. Is something missing? Got an idea? We're always looking for feedback or new ideas. Feel free to get in touch via the "Contact" button in the app. We'd love to chat!

1.3.1 2023-09-17
Introducing interactive widgets, a brand new iPad app, and a completely redesigned Apple Watch app!

Widgets:
• A new interactive widget allowing you to quickly add a reading to HealthKit from the home screen of your iPhone or iPad
• A "most recent" widget has been added, giving you a convenient way to view the latest blood glucose reading in HealthKit on your device
• Please note that these widgets can only fetch the latest data when your device is unlocked so pay attention to the time associated with the reading
• The widgets require iOS or iPadOS 17, and the widget for adding a reading requires an active subscription.

iPad app:
• Starting with iOS 17, HealthKit data is available on iPad, and this update adds full iPad support
• It has all the features of the iOS app, with a few iPad-specific niceties such as viewing history and trends in a convenient multi-column display, and the ability to use a cursor to hover over and reveal important details on a chart
• Please note that health data can be delayed when syncing from your phone, and generally requires the iPad to be plugged in and on Wi-Fi.

watchOS app:
• The Glucomate watchOS app has been redesigned from scratch to take advantage of the new design language in watchOS 10
• More charts and stats have been brought to the watchOS app, bringing it closer in functionality to the iOS/iPadOS app.

Other improvements:
• Small design improvements across the board, making the UI more consistent throughout the app
• Move stats and info for a workout or sleep session into cards on the analysis view. This makes the waking glucose card feel less lonely.

What's fixed:
• Some issues when loading data
• Slowness when viewing all readings on a day that has a lot
• The History tab not respecting your preferences for ordering of the cards
• "No data" cards being clipped on smaller iPhones on the Averages and History tab.

This is a big update - hope you like it! Got a question, comment, feedback, or suggestion? Please get in touch via the "Contact" button in the app!

New features:
• Redesigned the low/high count view, and will optionally show times for these lows and highs. Time range will be shown if available - e.g. "12:04pm - 12:39pm".
• Quick-undo for readings. After adding a reading, it will be confirmed in a popup at the bottom of the app, along with an "Undo" button in case you've made a mistake. Need to quick-undo? We got you!
• Specify a reading's meal timing. Recording a reading before a meal? How about after? Doesn't matter - you can note it when adding a reading! Readings with a specified meal time are marked with a different symbol on the all readings chart, and in the all readings list, making them easier to spot when viewing your data.

Improvements:
• You can now tap (not just drag) along some charts to view extra details
• Fix issues with chart overlay details going off screen
• Better messaging if HealthKit is unavailable
• Adds some missing translations
• Minor UI improvements and fixes across the app.

What's new:
• Dutch translations.
• Allows the default glucose level shown at the top of a chart's Y-axis to be chosen. This will be used unless there's a glucose level higher, in which case the graph axis will scale.
• Shows waking glucose reading, if available. A chart has been added to the Averages view to help compare across days, and the waking reading will be shown as part of the sleep summary.
• Improves support for infrequent recording of blood glucose. If you don't have any readings for the current day, the Today tab will change to a Recent tab and show your most recent reading.
• It's now easier to see recent readings when readings are recorded infrequently. A chart will show in the Today/Recent tab, and the option to view all readings will appear in the Averages tab.

What's fixed:
• Issue with the time since last reading label not updating in real-time.
• Issue when hovering over a value in a chart, the informational view shown off-center.
1.0.4 2023-05-07
What's fixed:
• An issue where the subscription purchase status wasn't always shown correctly when offline
• Another issue where trying to add a reading by long-pressing the Glucomate app icon wouldn't work the second time.
1.0.2 2023-04-22
