With the return to in-person events this update provides several new QR code based “contactless” features including digital business card exchange and session and exhibitor check in so you can connect and be more productive while minimizing physical contact with other attendees and printed materials.

So much great stuff!

• We've rebuilt the timeline experience to make it faster and more dependable. You can also scroll back through the entire history of your event, not just the most recent posts. And there's more timeline integration with sessions, too.

• We've expanded the scope of some event items. Exhibitors have more contact info; resources can be attached to exhibitors and speakers; and speakers, sessions, and exhibitors all have custom fields you can use for continuing education credits, your own codes, or whatever you'd like. You can also define featured tags for sessions like you could for exhibitors.

• Our note-taking features are no longer limited to iPad, but are available on any device.

• The schedule screen now displays much more of the session titles and locations, making it easier to find what you want without having to tap through to the details.

• We've fixed a few crashes and other bugs along the way, and updated the app to take advantage of some newer OS features.

Introducing the new Eventsential Personalized Dashboard. This dynamic interface allows attendees to view their upcoming schedule and recent conversations, as well as latest social posts and trending leaderboards, all at a glance.

We've made a number of user interface improvements, including support for iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, a better event download experience, and faster access to upcoming sessions in the schedule.

Lots of improvements behind the scenes as we improve user experience on iOS 8, and prepare for a couple of new features that we're not quite ready to reveal.

We’ve provided more filtering options making it even more intuitive to find sessions and exhibitors. We’ve also made several user interface improvements.

We've added some great dynamic mapping features that events can take advantage of, as well as redesigning elements of our iPad experience to make more room for event content. We've also looked at the app with an eye to performance, and addressed a few minor issues.

We've completely redesigned the navigation to make it even easier to get to all of the great content for your event. Organizations can now also add their own custom items right to the menus. We've also updated every screen in the app to look great on iOS 7.
