Gotta Smoke? Description
*** Free for a limited time ***
Overcoming a nicotine addiction is very difficult, but it can be done. Gotta Smoke determines your regular, everyday, smoking habits, creates and assists you in following a quitting smoking routine. Your stop smoking program is customized to your unique smoking habits and needs, helping you fight nicotine withdrawal symptoms. After every cigarette you have, the app will make small adjustments to the time between cigarettes, gradually easing you into smoking less everyday.

The path to stop smoking and stay quit is as individual as the smoker themselves and it’s incredibly important to arm oneself with the right tool for a successful outcome.
Starting with small, achievable steps Gotta Smoke? builds your confidence and helps you reach your ultimate goal - A smoke-free life!

Have You Ever Wonder Why it is So Hard To Quit Smoking?

Mark Twain said, "Quitting smoking is easy. I've done it a thousand times." Maybe you've tried to quit too. Why is quitting, and staying quit, difficult for so many people? The answer is nicotine.
When smokers try to cut back or quit, the absence of a very powerful drug as nicotine leads to physical and psychological withdrawal. Physically, the body is reacting to the absence of the drug nicotine. Psychologically, the smoker is faced with giving up a habit. Both must be dealt with if quitting is to be successful.

If a person has smoked regularly and abruptly stops using tobacco or significantly reduces the amount smoked, withdrawal symptoms will occur including:

- weight gain
- increased appetite
- depression
- feelings of frustration and anger
- irritability
- trouble sleeping
- difficulty concentrating
- restlessness
- headache
- tiredness

While you're using nicotine-containing products, your body adapts the way it works to compensate for the effects of the nicotine. When you no longer have nicotine in your body, these physiological adaptations for nicotine remain and as a result your body can't function the same way in the absence of the drug as it did before. Over a period of about a month, these symptoms and the physiological changes subside. But for many smokers, even a day without nicotine is excruciating.

It’s very important to minimize withdrawal by gradually reducing nicotine intake. We believe the best approach to quit smoking is to go with small, achievable steps. Gotta Smoke evaluates your smoking habits and creates an individual program to slowly break free from the addiction.

The Quit Smoking program consists of two phases:

- Phase One (3-4 days) - the time interval between your cigarettes will gradually increase, giving you a chance to get used to the app. After Phase One is finished, the app will make a personalized quit smoking schedule based on your smoking habits.

- Phase Two (estimated duration of 30 days) During this phase, the app will gradually adjust the time interval between your cigarettes using data from Phase One, as well as making adjustments to your smoking habits as you progress with the program.
