LIMITED LIFESPAN AND PERMADEATH
Each move equals one year of your hero's life. Think carefully about how you spend the hero's time. Explore the world for fame and fortune, but make sure to find a mate before it's too late!
GENERATIONS, MATING, AND HAVING CHILDREN
Find a mate, start a family, have a child. Then take control of that child in that same world! Choosing the right mate is key, as inheritable traits (special abilities) make your child more powerful and prepared.

October Major Update! New content, faster combat, critical hit damage, bug fixes, and more! See our Heart Shaped Games blog post for the full change list. Notable changes:
-Combat scene enters, exits, and resolves much faster.
-New "Critical Hit" feature deals +5 damage when your combat roll is 50pts or more than your opponent.
-New Items (Sai, Gift of Longevity) and New Traits (Raider 1 & Raider 2).
-Deliver Letter Quest has a new cutscene, and the Oracle gives out secret info upon completion of the quest.
-Oasis' now more regularly contain Keys.
-Main menu save game slots now show character equipment.
