Get the best overview of your day with 50-90% less battery impact. We made incredible optimizations to the activity detection for all iPhones with a Motion coprocessor (iPhone 5S, 6, 6S and 6SE). Our new activity tracker goes automatically into a deeper sleep mode when you're not moving and wakes up when you're active. This new mode is automatically enabled and will boost your battery life. In the Human settings you'll find new tracking options to tune the activity detection to your liking and balance battery life with accuracy.
As a special surprise you'll find amazing new maps on your Timeline. We've added a complete new overview of your activity for today. Premium members can rediscover the past 90 days and get a complete overview on a map for all previous days. We've also updated the activity detail view for everyone. Tap an activity in the timeline for beautiful new maps.
Have a great day!

Please open Human before and after an update, so we won't miss a thing.
We improved the syncing of your timeline for activities around midnight and fixed some other glitches and bugs.
We're constantly tweaking activity detection on our servers. We aim to skip all the short walks to the watercooler of 30 seconds or strolling through a supermarket, to focus on moderate activity that makes your heart beat faster. It’s our goal to make people more active, not specifically pick up every single step. Report any strange activity in your timeline with the Report button (!) so we can make your timeline better every day.

You can now share an overview of your day with your favorite picture, straight from the the timeline.
In this version the nudges to get moving are more reliable, so you no longer get a notification in the middle of that long walk or run. We also made other little tweaks and bug fixes.
Based on your feedback we're optimizing the activity detection on our servers. Please report any errors in the app (Activity details - Report) so we can make your timeline better every day.

Welcome to Human 6, the best lifestyle companion for your new iPhone 6 and 6S.
In the past months we completely redesigned our activity detection to get the most out of the motion coprocessor of your iPhone 5S, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S. Human 6 will give you the best overview of your daily activity with 50% less battery impact. On days that that wouldn't be enough, you can now turn on the new Low power mode in the Human settings to reduce battery to a minimum, without missing any activity.
Tracking your bike rides
With half of our team based on the Netherlands, we love the automatic detection of our bike rides. Unfortunately the motion coprocessors aren't very good yet at picking up cycling yet. The iPhone 6 and 6S do support cycling, but might sometimes show your stable bike rides as transport, while the iPhone 5S unfortunately doesn't support cycling at all. In cases where we can't automatically detect the correct activity type, you can manually correct any errors by tapping the activity on the timeline. We hope this is a small trade-off for an overall improvement in accuracy and a huge gain in battery life.
Upping the challenge
With the improved accuracy of our activity detection, you'll probably notice that there are less 'Active' chunks in your timeline. Both your indoor and outdoor walks of a minute or more will now be just identified as walking. We're also giving away less minutes for random device motion. That could mean your daily goals just became a tiny bit more challenging. If we missed anything, you can manually change any activity to 'Active' to get your minutes.
Bonus: Two new background packs
We revamped the default Human theme and added a beautiful new theme pack from the talented photographer Wesley Verhoeve. Build your streak this autumn and unlock this and other amazing theme packs.
The new tracking technology paired with a brand new timeline design, four new languages, a new Watch OS2 app and Spotlight search for all your clubs makes this one of our biggest releases. We're looking forward to your feedback. Use the feedback button in the Human settings to help us improve Human.
Let's go outside and enjoy autumn!
