IBM Aspera Drive Mobile Description
Based on Aspera’s high-speed fasp transport core, IBM Aspera Drive Mobile lets you browse, and upload and download files to and from, mobile-enabled Aspera Shares or Aspera transfer servers.

With Aspera Drive Mobile you can:

• Remotely browse projects and authorized Shares, or transfer server nodes, directly from the mobile device interface.
• Search and sort file browsing results.
• Download files from, or upload files to, remote Shares or nodes.
• Decrypt files protected with Aspera’s Encryption-At-Rest (EAR) option. Uploads will be EAR-protected if called for by the server.
• Use multiple Share or node accounts.
• Share downloaded content on the device with other iOS apps.
• View downloaded images, videos and files.
• Rename and delete content, and create folders, on remote servers.
• Upload from the camera and photo/video collections, or from other apps via the iOS “Open In...” functionality.
• Allow other apps that support Apple’s new Document Provide app extensions to import files that have previously been downloaded by the Drive app.

To use this app, an account on an Aspera Shares or transfer server (with node services) is required, and your transfer server(s) used by the app must also be mobile-enabled. The minimum server level for Aspera Shares is 1.7, and for Aspera transfer servers is 3.3.

1.2.0 2015-05-19
This is a new version of our iOS Drive Mobile app focused on improving the ability of the app to share its data and functionality with other iOS apps.

New features:

• Apps can upload their files via Drive -- Apps that support sending copies of their files into other apps (via the iOS “Open In...” functionality) are now supported by Drive. Specifically, files sent to Drive this way will open the Drive app directly in an upload workflow, allowing the file to be immediately uploaded to a configured share or node.

• Apps can import downloaded files from Drive (iOS 8 only) -- Apps that support Apple’s new Document Provide app extensions can now directly import files that have previously been downloaded by the Drive app. To import files from Drive, select the “Aspera Drive” app from the list of supported locations. You will then be able to import any files that Drive has downloaded (i.e., that are “on device” in Drive).

Important bug fixes include:
• In cases where the user first enters bad credentials for a server with a self-signed SSL certificate, the app may later reject requests to that server even after an eventual successful account setup. If during an upgrade, an account is found in this state, you will be automatically signed-out and prompted to signed-in again. (#30734)

Other bug fixes include:
• Camera and gallery icons are not aligned correctly. (#30914)

Fixes for other crashes:
• Possible crash when using the camera when the camera view is dismissed after zooming. (#30736)

Important bug fixes include:
• Possible token error when multiple files are uploaded on the same session.
• If app is started for first time on an iPad in landscape mode the Account definition view may bring up the keyboard in portrait mode. (#29844)

Other bug fixes include:
• Possible inconsistent orientation of the product tour at first time startup on iPad . (#29845)

Fixes for other crashes:
• Crash after swipe-deleting the app from the task manager when the app was showing a popover. (#29844)
