About IBM Aspera On Cloud Mobile

IBM Aspera on Cloud Mobile for iOS provides support for files-oriented and package-oriented actions in conjunction with the IBM Aspera on Cloud SaaS solution. With this app you can interact with Aspera on Cloud, and work with file, folder, and package assets.

Upload to and download from Aspera on Cloud files locations - The mobile user can see the file and folders available to them in workspaces. If permitted, the user can perform various actions in that workspace, including uploading and downloading content, renaming items, and making new directories/folders. The app supports the previewing of file content without having to download it.

Receive Aspera on Cloud packages -- The mobile user has visibility into their inbox of Aspera on Cloud packages, and can download whole packages or individual items from those packages into the mobile device. Packages with custom metadata fields will have that metadata shown to the user. Items in a package can be previewed without having to be downloaded.

Compose and send Aspera on Cloud packages -- The mobile user can compose and send a package to another Aspera on Cloud user, or to an external recipient (if so permitted). The user can easily add photo and video content to the package, or content from other apps that make their content accessible. The user can enable Aspera Encryption-At-Rest (EAR) encryption for the package content, and also can specify various options for package disposition after it has been downloaded.

Multiple accounts and workspaces -- The app supports users that require multiple Aspera on Cloud accounts, such as those working with multiple organizations. The app also supports accounts where the user is a member of more than one workspace, such as someone supporting multiple teams.
