This release contains a fix for email messages from users not showing up properly.

You'll need iOS version 12 or above for this updated version.

From today, all GoSquared Messages will include the option to be sent as Email Only!

Why is this important?

For a long time now, our customers have wanted to the ability to send time-sensitive emails from GoSquared.

Previously, you had to send an in-app message along with every email you sent out from GoSquared.

While it’s often fine, or even advantageous to send a message via email and in-app, this behaviour could lead to a poor user experience on some occasions.

Now with our new Email Only upgrade, you can select the option to communicate with customers without any in-app message duplication.

The previous release had a few bugs that caused the app to crash. We fixed those up and this version should be much more stable!

– Fixed an issue where you'd get caught in an infinite loop of being logged-out.
– Improved support for native password auto-filling on the login screen.

This release fixes a bug where the keyboard could show up over the top of the conversation you're replying to.

We found a bunch of layout bugs causing things to be misaligned or out of place. This update addresses those layout bugs, along with further improvements to the overall stability and performance of the app.

Just a small update to address a few bugs and improve the overall performance and stability of the Inbox app and compatibility with all the latest devices.

– Support for automatic Live Translation – speak to your customers in their own language with real-time message translation (available on Enterprise plans).
– We improved the formatting of content in Push Notifications to make it more consistent with notifications you see on desktop.
– Lots of bugs squashed.

– You can now see who else is viewing or typing in a conversation. No more worrying about whether one of your colleagues is dealing with a conversation!
– We fixed up the in-app GoSquared Live Chat interface so it works properly with iOS 11

– Fixed up some bugs related to how links would show in messages.

– We've whipped our emoji back _into line_ so they behave themselves.
– Things should now be a bit speedier if you're on a slow internet connection.

We’re excited to fix up a few areas of the app in this release – attachments now show inline, and we’ve made a bunch of improvements to notification badges to ensure you know what’s still waiting for your response.

– File and image attachments now show in conversations – finally!
– The app notification badge now more reliably shows the correct unread messages count. We hope this reduces your notification anxiety somewhat.
– The Project Switcher now shows the number of unread messages for each of your projects.
– We squashed a few bugs that would occasionally cause the app to crash.

We found and fixed a few bugs causing crashes in iOS 11 beta.

Bug fixes & performance improvements

Just a few bug fixes.

GoSquared Inbox 1.4 brings an excitingly large number of teeny tiny fixes that all add up to something big.

Long story short, this update is all about making notifications more reliable. Thank you for all your feedback on this – we've been working away, ironing out all the creases that ever got in between you and messages from your customers.

Here's what we've improved:

– Push notifications now show the project from which the message was sent.
– Unread notifications are cleared as you browse through conversations.
– In-app notifications now show up in the Notification Centre.
– Better font-sizing.
– Improved performance in the conversation list view.

Here's what we've fixed:

– Fixed an issue where you would only get push notifications for the current project while in the app.
– Fixed an issue where conversation lists could get stuck without loading, after having tapped a push notification.
– Fixed an issue where tapped push notifications could navigate to the wrong conversation.
– Fixed an issue where modals could disrupt navigation when tapping a notification.
– Resolved an issue where push notifications could stop working altogether.
– All projects are now unsubscribed from push notifications on signing out.
– Fixed an issue where you could be notified twice for the same message.

We’ve squished some bugs.

– The conversation list now shows the agent who last responded, helping you keep track of who’s handling what
– Push notifications are much more reliable when you’ve switched away from the app
– There’s a shiny new app icon

Here’s a few improvements to the GoSquared app that we’ve been putting our blood, sweat, and tears into. Just for you, our wonderful, lovely, caring customer.

* A more subtle “Connecting” message that’s 10x less “in your face” than before. This shows whenever your network connection is not stable, and it’s now a lot more subtle and less frustrating.
* Improved font-sizing. It turns out many of you use font-sizes in iOS that are not the default. We’ve now made the app look a whole lot better when you have teeny-tiny or ABSOLUTELY-HUGE font size options enabled.
* The GoSquared bot now has an avatar (the little blue face). The GoSquared bot is what triggers automatic messages to your users, such as auto-responders when you’re offline.
* We’ve also made the app better for you in the rare situations when you’re over your account limits. It’s now clearer a) that you’re over your limits, and b) what you need to do to get yourself on the right plan.

Aside from these small but significant improvements, we’ve also made an-almost-literal-boat-load of updates under-the-hood of the app to ensure it’s faster for you, and more robust for us to push many more updates and enhancements for you in the future.
