- iPad users will receive a prompt that signing in requires portrait mode. After signing in, users can switch to landscape mode.

• The app will now respect the timed re-direct setting on prototype hotspots.
• You can now toggle between portrait and landscape setting on prototypes as expected.
• You will no longer be asked to sign in again when viewing freehands in InVision Cloud V7.

We have an exciting update for you all! In this latest release, we’re introducing a new way to view prototypes that’s specifically designed to enhance and improve your user testing sessions.

A major pain point you’ve shared is that hotspot hinting and the ability to swipe through prototype screens decreases the efficacy of usability tests and app previewing. The new user testing mode lets you view and navigate through your prototypes with both hotspot hinting and swiping disabled.

Now you can initiate the user testing mode to let your users (or yourselves!) experience prototypes with no distractions!

The latest release resolves a few share link setting issues that may have been causing you trouble. You can now disable swiping and hotspot hinting in share link settings on desktop, and the app will respect those settings when your share link is deep linked. This should help with remote testing and sending links to external testers.

Freehand! Freehand! Freehand!

In this new release, we are excited to introduce our digital whiteboarding tool, Freehand. With our new Freehand integration, you can view all of your existing Freehands and also create a new one right from the app. Freehand enables you to wireframe, sketch, or brainstorm with your team right from the app. We are also offering this feature on our iPad app, which works perfectly with an Apple Pencil.
