The Amsterdam Maps & Routes app is the result of a project of the municipality of Amsterdam, that aims to decrease the overcrowding in the city centre. In this project, Stad in Balans, residents and stakeholders of the city are asked to hand in suggestions for experiments that contribute to relieving pressure on the city centre. The best suggestions win sponsoring for the execution. The I amsterdam Maps & Routes app is one of these experiments.
