The App Ministry helps Jehovah's Witnesses organize their ministry.

Within the app it is possible to financially support the project and the further development, as I have to pay monthly costs. Since Apple does not allow donation links, in-app purchases are intended for this purpose. By donating an amount of money once, which everyone can choose freely, some additional functions are activated in the app. Of course, a donation is not required to unlock the additional functions. Functions of this app are among others:
- GDPR mode: If this mode is activated, the app will only show you areas that are safe in the respective country. Please be sure to enable this feature if you live in a country where you are no longer allowed to record personal information.

- Transferring minutes: In the new month, the system notes whether there are any remaining minutes in the last month and transfers them to the new month.

Finally, the long-awaited update is here! You can look forward to the following new features:
- The default values for the new hour goals have been adjusted.
- The new brochure and the book "Enjoy Life Forever" have been included.
- Remote hours can be added to the service schedule via the calendar and can also be automatically entered.

NEW FUNCTION: From now on you will find a section "Literature Codes" in the service applications. There you will find the abbreviations for the different languages of our literature including a search function to quickly find out which abbreviation corresponds to which language or vice versa. This function is useful, for example, when compiling the bags for the long-distance driver service. Have fun with the new function! :)

for some time now there is an update with some new functions and optimizations:
REPORTS
----------
- Send report: From now on, the report can be sent not only by email or WhatsApp, but by any other app that allows sending text, e.g. SMS, Threema or AirDrop.
CALENDAR
------------
- Subsequent editing of entries in the calendar is now possible
- The calendar system recognizes now also several entries per day in the range "hours", counts these together and calculates reliably whether the daily goal was reached
- The calendar now communicates even better with the hours. The day's destination can now be automatically entered in the hours after it has been marked as "Done". How to save one step
- The display of the planned and already executed hours has been improved. At the top left you will find the planned hours. These are all the planned hours in the future that you have entered. At the top right you will find an overview of the currently completed hours, relative to your monthly target.

with this version some new features are added! The following is new:
- Dark Mode: Now there is the famous Dark Mode, which Apple will release in the new iOS version, also for Ministry. This doesn't only protect the battery, but also looks very appealing.
- You can now upload your territory card or choose from your photos. Important: It is not saved online, but only offline on your smartphone.
- An interactive map will now appear in your territory, allowing you to zoom in and out. It's automatically created based on your area's data.
- With the new calendar planner, you can enter your theocratic appointments - whether it's return visits, Bible studies, ministry appointments with brothers and sisters, or planning your classes. When entering a return visit, you can now also specify your next planned visit. The calendar remembers this and saves the appointment automatically.
- From now on, if you work in a street, you can forward individual house numbers directly via SMS, Whatsapp or other services. The whole address including the house number will be inserted. This is useful, for example, for foreign-language addresses. Simply wipe the individual house numbers to the right. Have fun trying it out!

with iOS 12.2 a bug has crept in that causes the app to freeze as soon as you select a certain time window in the year overview. I fixed this bug and uploaded an update. In addition, you are now redirected back to the territory if you automatically create a visit from there, so that you can continue working comfortably from there.

in this version there were again necessary adjustments, in order not to violate trademark rights. You may have noticed that no new features have been added for some time. Pleasing developments like current wedding preparations, the pioneer service and the work don't allow me to work regularly on "Ministry" at the moment. However, the todo list is still very large and I am sure I will soon find more time to add new features to the app. Until then I ask for your understanding :-)

Dear brother, in this version the name of the app has been changed from "MinistryJW" to "Ministry" so that no trademark rights are infringed. Also, I just freshened up the logo a bit. Otherwise, I'll take this opportunity to tell you which functions I'm currently working on:
- Group territories: Soon it will be possible to create group areas and invite your brothers who use the app (iOS or Android) to your territory. So you can work on one territory at the same time and in parallel. In this case, the notes are immediately sent to the creator of the territory.
- Photographing an territory map is possible soon.
- Offline mode: I can't say when it will be, but I'm currently working on an offline mode that will allow you to do the complete offline editing. Of course, the data will still be synchronized with the cloud so that it remains the same on all devices.

- LDC & Remote: Finally it is possible to record LDC or remote hours separately and include them in the report. Activate the function in your service settings, then your "Hours" area will be extended by the possibility to create hours in different areas.
- Shortened annual target for pioneers: If you are a Pioneer and also working in the LDC or as a Remote Worker, your annual target will be reduced by the respective hours. You can set the annual target to be automatically reduced by the number of LDC or remote hours entered, but you also have the option of manually reducing your annual target, for example, if you receive a credit after attending the Pioneer Service School.

- Share or print territory notes: From now on you can share or print your territory information with others. Just click on the "Share" icon in the top right corner and choose which information you want to share or print.
- Bell system: Here you can now create notes for each bell. Just hold down the corresponding bell and click on "Create note".
- The icons for the ringtones have been slightly enlarged
- In the street view of an territory, the filter "All" has been added next to "Odd" and "Even" and defined as default
- In the territory, a unique color was defined for the "Not at Home" filter, since the primary color of the design often leads to problems with the other colors. The colors have now been set so that they can be clearly distinguished from each other.

- The haptics have been improved and extended. Supported devices now send haptic signals when manually adding and removing data in the statistics area, in different areas during area processing and in all range sliders.
- Bell system: The order of the colors has been adjusted so that the order is the same as the one you work with in the normal area view. So everything remains in the same style and clear.
