The Lovers

The Lovers App is designed to help you and coach you into becoming a better partner and, as a result give you a fulfilling and stable relationship. The Lovers will facilitate you with this, but will by no means do any of the work necessary. The secret to a prosperous relationship is the constant and continuous work that you both need to put in. If you are prepared to work hard we will do our best to assist you on that journey.

WHY DO YOU NEED A RELATIONSHIP COACH?
In any relationship we experience a complex range of events and emotions every single day. Whether we are feeling positive or negative it is essential that we become more aware of ourselves within this relationship of two persons. The importance of raising awareness of the I and of the WE is the first step towards growth of yourself as well as your relationship.

THE LOVERS REFLECTIVE EXERCISES:
The Lovers App will, via notifications, send you cards with tips, questions, challenges and reflections about yourself and your relationship. Some cards might be recurring while some are a once off. As you grow, your reflections might be different depending on when you receive them. Your personal growth is one of our main objectives.
A bit of time can make all the difference. We have set ample time between the delivery of cards. Sometimes you may get several in a row, sometimes it might take a few days before the next one comes. This will give you plenty of time to reflect on some big questions and make notes.
Every card needs to be confirmed or dismissed before a new one is prepared for you. So remember to confirm your cards and be prepared for varied times before the next one comes.

EROTISCM:
Some cards can be rather explicit so be prepared. Sex is an important part of any romantic relationship. Working on your erotic intelligence is one of the ways we encourage you to become more aware of yourself as well as your partner. Erotiscm is as Esther Perel puts it “a transgressive force. It is about breaking the rules. It takes you outside of the borders of reality and the limitations of life.”

NOTES:
There is a notes function that lets you make notes connected to every card. On some cards we will urge you to make notes on others it is up to you. Notes can be edited or added at any time. Your answer to a card can not be edited at this time. If you prefer using a paper journal of some kind that is great too.

CARDS AND MY JOURNEY:
There are two views in the App, Cards and My Journey. You can flip through all of your issued cards in the Cards view. You get a better overview in the My Journey view with time and date stamps. The headline of your card and your notes are visible there. Tap on it and you get to see the complete card including your notes.

ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIP:
In this app you will find that we encourage you to share things with your partner. We might sound old fashioned, but we are not. We hope that you have someone to share this journey with.

SUBSCRIPTION & IN-APP PURCHASES:
The Lovers – Monthly subscription for US$ 1/month*
The free version of The Lovers will provide the user with approximately 6 months worth of coaching tips and challenges. The exact time will vary due to the speed the user proceeds at. Purchasing a subscription will allow the user to continue receiving new cards after the free pack ends. All the cards that you have received (Free or purchased) will always be available to the user.

You can subscribe and pay through your iTunes account. Payment will be charged to iTunes account at confirmation of purchase.Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renew may be turned off after purchase by going to the “Manage Subscription” page in settings.
