האפליקציה סל"ב – הסלולר בכיתה, מאפשרת למורה לשתף תלמידים באמצעות מכשיר הסלולר בדיונים, בסקרים, במשחקים ובפעילויות נוספות, בזמן אמת, כחלק מתהליך הלמידה הכולל. הפעילות מוצגת על לוח מרכזי בכיתה.
האפליקציה מאפשרת לתלמידים לתרום תוכן טקסטואלי ותמונות בתגובה לשאלה או אמירה שמציג המורה על הלוח.
המורה מנהל בעזרת כלים אינטראקטיביים פעילות לימודית המשלבת שיח מילולי ותצוגה דינמית של השיח על הלוח המרכזי.
בין יישומי האפליקציה: הצגה מזוהה או אנונימית של תגובות התלמידים, מיון תגובות התלמידים לפי מאפיינים שונים, מתן אפשרות לתלמידים למקם את תגובותיהם באמצעות ג'ויסטיק באזורים משמעותיים בלוח ועוד.
