لجنة أهالي خيطان الجنوبي ، لجنة تطوعية تم تأسيسها في عام 2017 م ، بالتزامن مع توزيع المشروع من قبل وزارة الإسكان . وتم عمل هذا التطبيق لخدمة أهالي المنطقة ، في الجانب الفني والمعماري والاجتماعي ، وتقديم كافة الخدمات التي من شأنها تخفيف العبئ المادي والفني على أهالي المنطقة ، كالخصومات الخاصة التي تقدمها الشركات المعنية في أمور البناء والشركات المساندة لها ، واستقطاب أفضل الشركات بأفضل الأسعار . وكذلك إيجاد قنوات لتواصل أهالي المنطقة ومعرفة جيرانهم من خلال التطبيق ، واستقبال اقتراحاتهم ومعرفة المعوقات أثناء البناء وبعده لتكون منطقة خيطان الجنوبي من المناطق النموذجية في كويتنا الحبيبة .
