Amharic Lemmatization Feature - Amharic is morphologically rich and complex language. An Amharic word could have thousands of grammatically correct inflections and conjugations. Lemmatization is the process of reducing derivationally related forms of a word to a common base form. Abyssinica Dictionary can now lemmatize an Amharic word to its common base form using Abyssinica Natural Language Processing (NLP) Engine when necessary. With this intelligent feature, users can search the word as it appears in the text without converting it to its root form.
