About ASM Knowledge Hub

In Phase 4 of the Sustainable Artisanal Mining project, Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation in Mongolia (SDC), initiated and funded the development of ASM Knowledge Hub, a web-based platform in 2017. The goal of the platform is to convene and enable ASM stakeholders to create and share knowledge, experiences and solutions.

The basis of the Knowledge Hub is mutual exchange, leverage, facilitation and coordination. It is leveraging the existing networks, expertise and assets of other international and national knowledge initiatives therefore there is a strong opportunity to bring additional resources to the ASM table.

The Knowledge Hub is recognised and used by ASM stakeholders as the most appropriate platform where to produce, share, learn, store, and anchor knowledge and information, and thus it contributes to upscale the application of best practices in socially and environmentally responsible ASM.
