Bug fixes

Updated to run on iOS 14 and iPadOS 14, with support for new Apple devices, including iPhone SE 2nd generation and latest iPads.
New option to show your cards with suits re-aligned to Dummy. You may turn this off in ‘Bidding and Playing options’.
Refined bidding when choosing between a suit and NT contract. Improvements to suit length and strength inferences during bidding.
New set of deals designed for TOTAL BEGINNERS, kindly supplied by bridge teacher Jack Stocken, www.yorkshirebridge.co.uk.
Improvements when connecting with another player, after choosing to defend against your partner’s contract.
Cosmetic changes: increased font sizes for Help Tab links. Also from Help Tab, a “Review BriJ” link. Smoother display for STOP and ALERT cards. Better explanatory text within bidding hints. Pause introduced before scores are shown. if you choose to “See” all cards face up, tricks are shown more clearly.
Other bug fixes and improved stability.

BriJ now supports the optional use of Dark Mode as introduced in the latest versions of iOS and iPadOS.
There are also several cosmetic changes to improve appearance in, for example, the icon bar, bidding box and options screens. The card table is enlarged to suit tall iPhones.
Fixes: removes spurious underlines on scoresheet; eliminates a problem with unresponsive BridgeWebs “download as pbn” (for iPad in landscape mode). avoids freezes when relaunching BriJ from a background state

BriJ now works more consistently with the most recently released iPhones and iPads as well as the latest iOS and iPadOS 13.3 operating systems. For example, the ‘options’ screens are easier to use and the BriJ screens make better use of the available space on the latest iPhones. Some other minor improvements.

. BriJ now offers the Claim button on the Host iPad or iPhone, when playing in defence as well as when playing as Declarer
. The EBU Green Book deals and EBU Fast Track deals are now available, as well as the EBU Red Book deals
. There are more club sessions for those who like to compare their play to 'real' players. A further 1000 deals available in -CLUB-SESSION-SAMPLES2
. The target number of tricks (shown in results for player BriJ1) is now always achievable by following the robot play suggestions
. Splinter bids are now observed after partner has responded to an opening bid with a suit bid and the opener is rebidding
. Discard suit choices are improved, keeping guards as well as potential winning cards
. A scoring discrepancy when playing on a rotated table is now resolved. Particularly important for CLUB-SESSION-SAMPLES play

* Bidding improvements and fixes include :
proper inferences for response to strong 1NT;
Ogust inferences after 3C, 3D, 3H, 3S, 3NT responses to 2NT Bid;
Jacoby 2NT now shows strong suit with 3NT (previously 3H);
Negative (double has a major overhaul;
fixed some 2/1 bid inferences for strength and suit length and to recognise certain conventional bids, previously missed in the 2/1 setting;
Splinter bid is now inferred even if opposition have doubled, but not if they have overcalled;
Splinter double jump corrected to include 1C -> 3D and 1D. -> 3H;
rebid after a previous double, now infers 5 cards and 15+ points

* Manual dealing: the save deal dialog now shows the type of file PBN or LIN being saved, so you don’t have to enter the extension explicitly. Also the target folder CLUB (pbn) or TOURNAMENT (lin) is selected with a suitably constructed filename, by default

* Fix BBO single-board downloads. Now constructs the 4th hand properly when the .LIN file only shows 3 hands
* Version 2.3 uses the latest iOS 11 development system

Version 2.2 fixes an occasional installation problem. Version 2.1 introduced:-

You can now listen to music when playing BriJ. Look and feel is improved in the bidding phase. Auto play choices of ‘slow’, ‘medium’ and ‘fast’ now run at a slower pace. The auto button is disabled when necessary. Target tricks now only show if requested. Bidding and Play improvements as in the last version. Fixed a recent problem for devices where the language is not English. Other minor fixes and improved stability.

New 'Slow Auto Play' choice in Options. Many improvements to bidding precision. Better defensive play strategy in 2nd seat. Fixes.

Fix for version 1.2.0. Without a Wifi connection, BJ Bridge terminated after showing scores.

Introduce a “News” page to keep BriJ players up-to-date with events.
Remove duplicate session results in score page after repeatedly loading a club deal file.
Adjust position of advertisements on 6+ and 7+ iPhones.
Stability improvements.

• You can now import deal files into BriJ, e.g. via email. 
(Long-press the attachment BriJ icon and choose the version of BriJ you want use to play the deal).
• Colours for the diamond suit are now consistent between bidding box and playing cards.
• When connected to another device, you no longer see hints for your partner's hand under some circumstances.
• A warning is displayed when you touch a website link, without an Internet connection available.
• Improved layout for iPad Air 1 and iPad Mini 1 tablets.
• Minor fixes, layout changes and improved stability.
