About BraveryCord
The BraveryCord is a system consisting of beads. Every bead represents a specific treatment, research or event, for instance chemotherapy, an emergency hospital admission, a scan, a lumbar puncture, a very good day or a horrible day, surgery, ICU admission, etc. When you are diagnosed with cancer, you receive a wax cord with one VOKK-bead, an anchor bead (representing hope) and letter beads for your name. Over time, beads for every treatment will be added to the cord. This way, you string your own BraveryCord, telling the story of your treatment.
The BraveryCord app is an addition to the BraveryCord: it helps you to virtually collect your beads. The app helps you to count your BraveryBeads, to remember the order and to share your cord with friends. The app quickly shows you the meaning of each separate bead and you are even able to make notes about the beads. You can use the app on both your iPhone and iPad.
The Vereniging Kinderkanker Nederland and MomentousApps did their best in designing the BraveryCord app. If you encounter any errors or mistakes, please let us know so we can improve the app. You can send an email to info@kanjerkettingapp.nl.

The following improvement has been made in version 4.2:
- Two new beads have been added: the hair growth bead and the Gold Ribbon bead.
- New name and logo for Vereniging Kinderkanker Nederland.
- A bead can be moved tot a different date.
- Which beads now provides a detailed view showing all dates for that bead.

This version of the BraveryCord app includes the following improvements:
Bugfix so the necklace file can be opened from an e-mail again.
New menu option to switch to the Scottish version. When the Scottish version is activated, three new beads are available (Biopsy, Journey So Far and Home Visit). The names of the beads are also different from the English version.
