Cadenza Live Accompanist 1.3.5 includes the following changes:
- Need help making the most of Cadenza? This release includes an updated Cadenza User Guide and new how-to-videos on our YouTube channel. You can find these links at the bottom of the Settings panel.
- When you use AirPods or other wireless audio devices, Cadenza shows you the Accompaniment Timing Shift setting. This important setting helps Cadenza to compensate for the slight delays inherent in wireless audio playback. Cadenza remembers what Timing Shift settings you prefer for each of your wireless audio devices.
- To play a score transposed, tap the purple transposition icon at the top of the screen and adjust the slider. Cadenza supports performances up to one octave above or two octaves below the written pitch.
- Cadenza automatically refreshes the Music Library catalog as new scores become available. On iPad, the Music Library has a streamlined interface that more closely matches the iPhone app.

Cadenza Live Accompanist 1.3.3 b831 supports a wide selection of external audio devices via different connectors with UI updates to indicate the current active input / output audio device used by Cadenza
(i) (the most common case) Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter* [for iPhone and iPad models with Lightning connector to use a usual USB audio device]
(ii) USB-C to USB Adapter or USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter [for iPad Pro models with USB-C to use USB audio devices]
(iii) Lightning Digital AV Adapter or USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter [for HDMI output only]
(iv) Lightning to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter or USB-C to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter [for plugging a headset (with or without a microphone) of 3.5mm audio connector into iPhone and iPad)
(v) Apple MFi certified audio interfaces, microphones or headset via Lighting connector [such as Apogee JAM interfaces, Sennheiser ClipMic (input only) and AMBEO Smart Headset (input and output)]

*The adaptor has "Camera" in its name but it works for audio as well. Note when connecting a USB audio interface via a Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter, it is very likely that external power is required for both the iOS device and the audio interface to work together. This can be done by charging from the Lightning connector next to the USB 3 port on this adaptor; for this reason we strongly recommend using this "Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter" from Apple (https://www.apple.com/shop/product/MK0W2AM/A/lightning-to-usb-3-camera-adapter) not the smaller "Lightning to USB Camera Adapter”

Several bugs are fixed based on good reports from lovely Cadenza musician-users.

Built for the latest iOS 14.2 and macOS 11 Big Sur, Cadenza 1.3.2 (b814) is our first release that offers a truly universal music experience on both mac and iOS.
Your CadenzaID can now sign in on a mac (requiring macOS 10.15 Catalina and above) to play music with the ease of connecting virtually all professional grade audio interfaces, studio monitors and your favorite microphone clipping on your instrument. With the new universal purchase support across platforms, now a single subscription will unlock the access to our entire library on all personal devices that you own: iPad, iPhone, Intel-based macs and future macs with Apple Silicon (all iOS and mac devices with your AppleID signed in are considered your personal devices)

Feature updates include:
- new status icons to show the input and output audio device separately with hints for optimal sound
- fixed a bug in saving performance recordings while using bluetooth; Cadenza officially supports AirPods (gen.1 & 2) and AirPods Pro; you may try other bluetooth speakers/earbuds which may or may not offer satisfactory musical experience due to their variations in audio latency)
- improved vocal model for singers (an instrumentalist now also activate this model if choosing a song under "All")
- easier and more robust "Sign in with Apple" experience with your authorization info securely kept in your keychain
- additional support for students and faculty at Yale School of Music signed up with @yale.edu emails

Cadenza Live Accompanist 1.3.1 is a feature-rich release offering:

- multiple bug fixes and user experience improvements from user feedbacks.

Cadenza supports the Heifetz 2020 Summer Program:
students and teachers from Heifetz International Music Institute can create CadenzaID using email ending with @heifetzinstitute.org for special access.
New violin literature "HKIVS collection" curated by Hong Kong International Violin School (hkivs.com).
Improved live performance for AirPods and AirPods Pro with H1 chip; wired speakers/header are still recommended to achieve optimal performance without wireless latency.

Cadenza Live Accompanist 1.2.11 added "Sign in with Apple" integration on mobile devices running iOS 13.
- New Cadenza users can create Cadenza account by Touch ID or Face ID;
- For current Cadenza users, your existing CadenzaID now allows automatic login across multiple iOS devices that you own!

Cadenza can produce a personal animation movie for any past takes you saved on your iOS device; the music score will display in sync with your performance. That is, even if you record without turning on the camera, Cadenza can produce a live music animation movie for you!

We received a wave of requests/questions from Cadenza users about connecting different external microphones and speakers.
With this 1.2.11 update, we try to support as much as the iOS audio system allows.
[1] [Audio Interface] external sound interfaces that have both input and output.
This is the most recommended connection (some audio interfaces may need external power)
[2] [Microphone only] external microphone plugged via the Lightning Camera adaptor or through USB-c on 2018/2020 iPad Pro models.
Cadenza will still use built-in speakers as the output
[3] [Speaker only] external speakers/headphones connected via Lighting-to-3.5mm adaptor, USB-c-to-3.5mm adaptor, or via Lighting-USB/HDMI adapter.
Cadenza will use built-in microphones as input in this case.

As always, in each update we address feedbacks from Cadenza users with bug fixes and stability improvements.

Cadenza Live 1.2.10 boosts audio output volume in general; Cadenza can automatically switch to the USB or HDMI audio interface that you plug into your iPhone / iPad.

This 1.2.9 update is to respond to Cadenza users' requests & bug reports right after our 1.2.8 release:
(1) offers full controls in producing music video with the score overlay animation;
(2) fixed a bug in 1.2.8 that a few long movements such as Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto 1st mvmt cannot be opened; also improved performance and memory footprint on older iOS devices such as iPad Air and iPad mini 2;
(3) improves UI in "Settings and Tools" with a new Cadenza user guide;
(4) allows wireless printing of Cadenza's publisher-grade music scores;
(5) offers switch for the live score animation that may help a user look ahead of the current measure.

Cadenza Live Accompanist 1.2.8 offers many stability improvements and bug fixes.

Cadenza 1.2.6 is a special release to create sample performance HD video that is in a perfect sync with the music score overlay. Thus the performance and the music score become one with Cadenza. Optimized for social media to spread the joy and music; ideal for music educators to produce interactive music performance video for their students to watch from any note.

Cadenza 1.2.5 can produce live video with its orientation automatically adjusted when the iPad is upside-down; the score shading is fine-tuned to be more responsive in the Live mode.

Cadenza 1.2.4 introduces Erhu as an instrument Cadenza supports with works by Erhu virtuoso and composer George Gao.
This update also corrected the horizontal mirroring in exporting video files.

Cadenza 1.2.3 release brings much faster video processing speed and multiple stability improvements in video/audio recording and playback.

Cadenza 1.2.0では声楽の分野に新しいアルゴリズムを導入し、パフォーマンスのビデオ録画ができるようにアップデートしました。
（1）Cadenzaは人間の声を非常に表現力豊かな「楽器」として認識します。今回のアップデートではそれぞれの人の歌声の個性に対応できるようにプログラムしました。オペラアリア、歌曲、民謡など、多様な歌のジャンルをサポートしています。また低音の歌手向けにはオリジナルのピッチより２オクターブ低く移調できるようにしています。
（2）ライブビデオを録画できるようになりました（この機能をお使いいただくためにはフロントカメラをご使用ください）。保存したパフォーマンス（ビデオまたはオーディオ）を簡単に共有したり、ファイルとしてコンピューターや他のモバイルデバイスにAirDropしたり、直接エクスポートすることもできます。iOSデバイスにインストールされたiMovieなどのアプリにパフォーマンスを記録して編集、お気に入りをSNSに投稿したりすることも可能です。

Cadenza ライブ 1.1.9 のアップデートでは、練習モード中に小節強調表示が導入されたのでさらに伴奏に合わせやすくなりました。また、オーディオキャリブレーションのUIを改善し、レビュー再生中に「停止」ボタンにアクセスできないバグを修正しました。

Cadenza 1.1.8のアップデート：
Cadenza 1.1.8では対応楽器にチューバが追加されました。
Cadenza 1.1.8では各音楽系大学との連携を広げ、今後さらに大学や音楽系教育機関単位でのユーザーサポートを拡大します。
Cadenzaはビュッフェ・クラリネットコンクール2019、ジンバオ・トロンボーン・チューバコンクール2019において公式に伴奏サポートを提供しています。管楽器の情報については今後も続々と更新される予定です。

Cadenza Live v 1.1.7アップデートでイントネーションに関する設定が向上しました。
iPhoneのライブラリで「すべて」を選択した後に難易度がリセットされないというバグを修正しました。またiPhone XS MaxのUIの小さな位置ずれ問題を修正しました。
