It was based on the earlier Cessna 150, including a number of minor design changes and a slightly more powerful engine running on 100LL. The aircraft was first delivered in 1977 and is powered with a Lycoming 0-235 engine.
The information in this app was gathered from the Cessna 152 Pilot's Operating Handbook, originally published in 1982.
