In general, we are making sure to keep the app running as smoothly as possible when the screen is turned off, or when you use other audio apps together with baby monitor, but the system applies different rules to the apps running with screen off or in the background, and can terminate them without letting the app know.

If you rely on the baby monitor, please always keep it running with screen unlocked as the front most app to minimize potential interference with other apps.

If you use the app with screen turned off or heavily mix with other apps, share your observations with us, so that we can fine tune the behavior even further.
