About CSMT - Certified Service

Certified Service Mobile Toolbox (CSMT) is a mobile tool for General Motors Dealer Service personnel. Within it you can:
• Pre-authorize specific warrantable repairs (PRA)
• Use photos to improve efficiency of the Part Return Process (PPR)
• Send part information for traceability (RPT)
• Submit detailed Field Product Reports (FPR)
• Lookup and view recalls on vehicles (Recall)
• Access the Service Workbench

All modules have the ability to include embedded images and video of the vehicle in question.

- New FPR Drafts Feature, where users will be able to start an FPR form, save their progress, and submit at a later date.
- Addition of Light/Dark mode. Depending on your device’s settings, the CSMT app will be displayed in either Light or Dark mode.

New modules Photo Parts Return (PPR) and Replacement Parts Traceability (RPT) are now included in Certified Service Mobile Toolbox (CSMT) Application.

• PPR gives users the ability to take and submit photos of parts when requested from GM Personnel rather than physically sending the part.
• RPT gives users the ability to easily capture replacement part data and send to General Motors.

We've also enhanced the CSMT experience with new features that will allow our users to do more in the app.

• Recall Lookup: Users now have the ability to scan a VIN and view any open recalls on the vehicle.
• VIN Scan Popup Validation: Users now have the ability to validate VIN was scanned correctly though an automatic popup notification.
