「緊急離陸（ダストオフ）を求む！」これは密林での戦争中における無線交信で、幾度となく使われた言葉だ。君は救出用ヘリコプターを駆って離陸し、戦場で危険に（そして多くの場合、さらに砲火に）さらされた負傷兵たちを探し出し、彼らの命を救え。これは君にしか出来ない任務だ！

敵戦車やその他の敵部隊を食い止めながら、「チヌック」輸送ヘリで盗まれた輸送物資を見つけ出し、友軍基地へと安全に輸送せよ。

捕虜収容所に囚われた人質らを救出せよ。彼らは救出ヘリの心躍る音を必死に待っている。君は彼ら全員の最後の希望。一人も残さず救い出せ！

ほぼ確実に敵砲火にさらされる「ダストオフ任務」は、ヘリ操縦士として君の勇気が必要となる。だがそこから得られる物は十分すぎるはずだ。
