About EatforGood

EatforGood estime l'empreinte carbone de votre alimentation, pour la comparer à l'équivalent en terme de distance de transport. Le calcul prend en compte le facteur d'émission du produit, sa provenance ainsi que la saison en cours (pour les fruits et légumes). Les aliments sont identifiés via un champ de recherche automatique ou via l'appareil photo.

L'application utilise des données fournies par l'ADEME (Agence de l'environnement et de la maîtrise de l'énergie) pour l'empreinte carbone des produits, ainsi que des données de la SNCF pour la comparaison avec l'équivalent en empreinte carbone des principaux moyens de transport.
