“Gamification in a world class course on infectious diseases?” Yes, you heard it right. “Epidemics - The Game” is a MOOC-game edutainment inspired by The University of Hong Kong (HKU)’s Epidemics Massive Open Online Course (MOOC). This game serves as an introduction to concepts that will be taught in the MOOC - it is not only an exciting game, but through gameplay players’ breadth and depth of knowledge will also be enhanced.
